Energy Star

 

Metl-Span’s CFR roof panels with an unpainted, acrylic coated Galvalume® exterior skin are Energy Star approved. The initial solar reflectance is .68 and the solar reflectance after 3-years is .55.

Cool Roof Rating Council

 

 

The Cool Roof Rating Council (CRRC) is an independent, non-profit organization that maintains a third-party rating system for radiative properties of roof surfacing materials.  Metl-Span’s CFR roof panels with a Regal White Fluropon® exterior skin are CRRC licensed and meet the definition of “cool” roofing for low-slope roofing under Title 24, Part 6 of the California Energy Code in 2005.
